Arm Balance & Inversions Workshop With Chelsea Eaves
If you feel like you never have time in class to really practice arm balances and to understand how they work, this workshop is for you! Whether you're curious but a little nervous about balancing on your hands and would like some help as you start, or you've been working on them for a while but want to develop your skills and get over a plateau, this workshop will give you tools, knowledge and confidence to further this piece of your practice.
This all-levels workshop will cover the fundamentals (and more) of arm balances and (some) inversions in a relaxed, fun and safe environment. We'll warm up and then spend time clearly breaking down arm balances including crow pose, side crow, eight angle pose, koundinyasana I/II - if you're not sure what those are, worry not, that's what this workshop is for! We'll also venture into forearm stand and headstand.
There will be props, tips and tricks, personal attention, and a great time because who doesn't like to monkey around with like-minded friends!? Come with an open mind and a willingness to try. Be ready to surprise yourself as you learn to fly and discover your new capabilities!
